Big Brother

I am school.

Though I have been a body for 20 years

I have been alive for 18.

My backpack grew into me, I did not grow into it;

A hunch behind my head, packed with recited quotes, dates, symbols,

We spell g-o-o-d.

I am the bell ringer,

One of millions,

The truth teller,

And yet the only thing I can seem to remember

Is that 2 + 2 = 5.
