A Walk through the Dream Sand

I feel you in my dreams

Especially when I know that better nouns should occupy my mind

But what anything swims better than a human

Than a pastime

And so I follow where you lead

Into the dream-sand at my feet

Sinking deep and deep and deep

Though my throat aches from the air

And my skin itches with stardust

I walk into your ghost like manifestation

And I pray I can wake up
