No End to My Means

This is not the end

Though splinters rage war on flesh

Digging in anxieties like new sorts of nuclear weapons

Click clack sharpness stinging

This is not the end

Though my face is a muddy mountain

Falls of worry splashing down into muddled conversation

Splish splash futures tingling with unknown

This is not the end

Though I feel like dying

Body crawls in a corner

Baby cries and cries and cries

Heave ho chest raps doors broken

This is not the end

Though the close feels near

Lava sputters out of lips

Scorching words hang wet

Sizzle shhh the sounds of heart break

Complicated though

This is not the end
